Vicky Stull is a recent transplant to St. Petersburg, Florida from Saugatuck, Michigan, Vicky continues to photograph in both areas producing finely crafted black and white prints. Although the principal subjects found in her work include floral, architecture and the landscape, the overriding theme is about the effects of light as it plays in and about these objects. “While I hope to give enjoyment to the viewers I also hope to challenge them to gain new awareness of how the play of light adds meaning to ordinary objects”. Vicky’s work can be found in numerous galleries, museums and both private and corporate collections. She recently completed a book for the Saugatuck-Douglas Historical Society which contained over 75 photographs of West Michigan architecture. Vicky teaches classes and works with beginning photographers to develop their visual awareness and craft
